Our Parent Advisory is an amazing group of parents who make a significant impact at Kw'íyeqel Secondary. They meet once a month in a relaxed and enjoyable manner as they review topics and provide input for improving our school. They also complete annual applications for the Ministry Gaming Funds. Their applications for funds result in the added responsibility of managing a significant budget for our school. Management of the gaming funds is an enjoyable experience for our parents as they are able to approve and plan for a variety of experiences and opportunities for our students. All parents with students attending KSS are members of the Parent Advisory. Therefore, we encourage parents to attend some monthly meetings in order to gain an understanding of the various opportunities to be involved with our school.
